East Fremantle Soccer Club
East Fremantle Soccer Club is a vibrant, friendly Club located at Wauhop
Park, East Fremantle, with over 40 junior, women's and men's teams.
The Club was founded in 1953 and has a strong community tradition in the East
Fremantle and surrounding areas. The Club has grown rapidly in the past few
years such that we now have three playing venues: our traditional home at
Wauhop Park, East Fremantle, plus newer venues at The Gilbert Fraser Reserve,
John Street North Fremantle and Bruce Lee Oval, Beaconsfield.
East Fremantle Soccer Club runs a successful Joeyball programme for 5 to 7
year olds on Saturday afternoons which is held at Wauhop Park.
8 and 9 year old players participate in the Kanga Home League, an inhouse
program on Sunday mornings, which strives to maximise younger players skill
development, and enjoyment of participation.
From the age of 10 years and on, our Juniors take part in the Football West junior league structure. The club, has in conjunction with Fremantle Spirit, introduced a Junior Boys development pathway. East Fremantle Soccer Club also has 11 junior girls' teams ranging from under 11s to under 17s and a further 4 women's senior teams including our State Premier League team. We are proud to be at the forefront of supporting the growth and promotion of the women's game in Perth.
